Margarita is a former Russian National Team coach. She is currently head coach of the Team USA Rhythmic Gymnastics Group, who she led to compete in the 2016 Olympics in Rio, and 2021 Olympics in Tokyo. She has 30 years of coaching experience, and 10 years with the US National team.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Zoe Dorris both personally, and in supporting the USA Rhythmic Gymnastics Team. Following numerous back surgeries, Dr. Dorris assisted in my rehabilitation to significantly decrease my pain, scarring, and improve overall mobility. I felt an extreme difference after working with her. Dr. Dorris has done great work with the girls on my team - she is very knowledgeable and has a specialized background in dance that gives her the ability to pinpoint specific deficits and understand why dancers and gymnasts have the unique issues they have and what to do. She is warm, personable and kind and always makes sure her patients are comfortable. Her dedication to educating athletes on wellness, women’s health, and the long term benefits of physical therapy exercises has helped improve athletic performance while healing and decreasing injuries. I can recommend Dr. Dorris to anyone, gymnast or not, looking to improve their performance and health.”
